I'm thinking about 90% of the minis weight is brackets at this point.

Great series not constrained by stupid production companies that haven't a clue what they're filming and refreshingly no bleeping! One thing though, isn't the crank sensor a hall effect (three wire) and the camshaft sensor a magnetic (two wire, you've also got the meter set to AC volts whereas a Hall output would need to be set to DC)? Sorry to let Mr Picky out of the box!

wow, i missed the first time i watch it. But did you cut a radiotor in tree pieces and then flip them 90degrees. And then welded them to create a max airflow path . So you inverted a basic radiator. kudos to you!

Is the location of the transducer on the t piece at a right angle to the general flow of pressure going to make any significant difference to the value it reads for a given pressure?

17:46 if they just ended up putting the tops that were too small to start with from the id 1000's onto the 1050x's and just put a bigger o-ring on them, why did they just not put the bigger o-ring on the old 1000's and avoid all the spacer hullabaloo in the first place???

I am puzzled, you must remember in my day Turbo meant foreign and probably not to reliable, but did or did not Nic spend a lot of time welding up a cooler for the turbo that mounted in front of the radiator now he has just manufacture one to put on the top?
Never mind I went back to episode 7, yeah it's been that long ago and found out there is a separate radiator for the charge cooler
1BigBen - 6 dager siden
if I remember this right the front cooler cools the water that cools the air coming from the turbocharger before it enter the throttle body

I just wanted to point out, at about 19:00 the statement was made "These are a very light interference fit but to get them to seat properly it was prudent while at the lathe to make an adapter-hammer interface to avoid damaging the new parts with the twatting stick."
Wouldn't that be a adapter-twatter interface?
I'm just looking for clarity...
Why I'm looking for that here, I'm not clear on.
